This is a day long trip, wherein you cycle a 35 km stretch. It begins at UB City, Vittal Mallya Rd from where you take the shuttle out of Bangalore to the country club. The ride begins at the country club. The route goes through country roads, farms, villages, small shrines and rocky landscape of Ramanagara. Also, you can visit the 400 year old Big Banyan Tree spread across 3 acres. The ride goes past the Manchinbele dam to reach Ramanagaram. Go to Channapatna, the toy-town where wooden and lacquer-ware toys are crafted, via a shuttle, and further the shuttle can also be used to go to Bangalore.
Cycle up to a height of 4,851 ft (1,479 m) above sea level to Nandi Hills and take in the mesmerizing views. Go through 40 curves on a steep climb to this breathtaking getaway on the outskirts of the city. You will ride past thickets of long grass and trees before arriving at the peak around lunchtime after which you will begin your journey back home. You can also take a detour to the ancient temple of Bhoganandeeswara on your way. The ride is anywhere between 25 kms (16 miles) to 40 kms (25miles), including 7 kms of ascent.
In this tour you cycle your way past vegetable gardens, mango orchards, grape farms, Hesaraghatta Lake, paddy fields, grasslands, dairy farms, all through quiet country roads.
