PHTPB Provides Double Decker Buses In Amritsar For Tourists

Punjab Heritage and Tourism Promotion Board (PHTPB) have decided to introduce five new double-deckers for tourists to have best sightseeing of the city. For this, tenders are floated and the service will definitely be started from the middle of the year 2016. These buses will start running between Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, the Gobindgarh fort, Durgiana Temple, the Summer Palace in Ram Bagh, the heritage village in Guru Nanak Dev University and other popular tourist spots of the city. The top floor of the bus will remain open that will provide best sight of the tourist spot and beauty of entire city. Moreover, these busses will also provide best transport to historical locations and Attari border. One amphibians bus that can run on road and sail on water is also approved for Harike Pattan wetland. 

President of Amritsar Hotel and Restaurant Association, APS Chatha has welcomed this decision and is expected to have best infrastructure development and addition of new tourist spot in the city. Moreover, several new 4-star hotels will also be constructed to provide decent stay place for visitors nearby Amritsar airport and other important locations. Thus, this project will provide luxurious facilities on their visit to Amritsar for travel reason.
