Chinteni

Chinteni is a commune in Cluj County, Romania. It consists of nine villages: Chinteni, Deusu, Feiurdeni, Macicasu, Psdureni, Salistea Veche, Sanmartin, Satu Lung and Vechea. Feiurdeni is a farming village. Most of the households are living from agriculture. Before the communist reign, the village turned into generating milk and dairy merchandise for the nearby town. The lifestyle final for the duration of the communism, few families managed to stay from the loose alternate of dairy products, an instance is the Ratiu family.

During the Second World War the hills across the village were disputed in a violent war among the Soviet and the German armies. The Orthodox Church has a Roman architecture, having as its version a Swiss Calvinist Church. Feiurdeni has a Roma network focused inside the Buna zone of the village.
