Bhedaghat

Bhedaghat is a town and a nagar panchayat in Jabalpur district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is arranged by the side of stream Narmada and is around 20 km from Jabalpur city. Its most renowned sights are the Dhuandhar Falls, Marble Rocks, and the Chaunsath Yogini sanctuary. The sanctuary is one of the four noteworthy surviving sanctuaries containing carvings of sixty four yogini, female yoga spiritualists. It was worked in the tenth century under the Kalachuris. It directions a perspective of the entire territory around and of the stream coursing through the marble rocks.

Its real fascination is a cascade known as Dhuandhar, which resembles smoke leaving the stream and accordingly it got its name as "Dhuansmoke- dharflow of water". Another significant fascination is 'Bandar Kodini', when one goes in the middle of the marble shakes in a pontoon, the mountains at both the sides at one point come so shut that the monkeys can hop crosswise over them, henceforth the name "Bandar Kodini". In a twilight night, the movement between the marble shake mountains in a vessel on the waterway Narmada is one of the prevalent vacation spots here.
