Annecy

Annecy is the biggest city of Haute-Savoie office in the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes district in southeastern France. The city of Art with a great structural congruity. Strolling around Annecy old town is a genuine enjoyment. With its beguiling waterways, its bloom embellished banks, its little wonderful extensions and its lovely houses with beautiful exteriors, Annecy conveys extremely well its epithet of Savoyard Venice.

Annecy does not have any incredible critical notable landmark. No incredible house of prayer, no Roman remains, no noteworthy stronghold. The tourist attraction at Annecy is simply the old city, with its exceptionally pleasant bouleds and riverside; and obviously the lake as well. It's anything but difficult to invest hours meandering through the thin roads of Old Annecy. For all intents and purposes the entire of the old city is a walker region. With their brightly painted houses, arcades, boutiques, bistros and eateries, the lanes and the riverside quays are a charming zone just to meander round.

There are a couple of especially significant structures in the old city, the most photogenic being the Palais de l'Ile, or the Island Palace, parts of which go back to the twelfth century. After some time the building has filled in as a family home, a jail and a law-court. Just toward the south of the old city is the Chateau, a significant Alpine-style fortification to a great extent worked in the Middle Ages. The estate houses ious exhibition halls and displays, covering workmanship, prehistoric studies and ethnology.
