About Kang festival

The Kang festival is a hindu festival in Manipur. During the Kang festival, Lord Jagannath leaves his house the sanctuary and goes in an auto which is pulled by the enthusiasts and the pioneers. This auto in which the Lord ventures is called 'Kang' in Manipur. Pulling the 'Kang' of the Lord is thought to be of significant privilege and regard and therefore the aficionados and pioneers contend with each other for the opportunity. The parade is went with music of ringers, gongs, drums,nahal and conch.
There are contributions of barti, blossoms and organic products which are organized at the distinctive territories. The aficionados perform Kirtan 'Khubakisei' and there are group feasts organized in the nights. The festivals for the Kang celebration proceed for 10 days with a great deal of eagerness and intensity. The Kang Festival in Manipur is commended for a traverse of 10 days amid the period of July.
