Receive upon arrival at Dimapur airport and transfer to hotel. Dimapur town is the ancient capital of the Kachari tribe, whose rule existed before the 13th century AD. Reminiscenes of the glory of this kingdom can be found in the ruins that are scattered in and around the town. These ruins give evidence of a culture that probably had a touch of Hinduism, but were predominantly Non-Aryan. Afternoon visit the Kachari Kingdom ruins. Later visit local handloom & handicrafts at Naga shopping arcade. Halt at Dimapur. Homestay/ hotel.

Morning drive from Dimapur to Kohima town. Visit the World War II Cemetery. Kohima town has gone through dark days during the Second World War when the allied forces fought a very bloody but victorious battle against the Japanese. A war cemetery has been built in the heart of the city where the battle took place, in order to honour the memories of the British and the Indian soldiers. After lunch visit the State Museum which will give you an idea in a nutshell of the Naga Culture and Traditions. Evening explore the Local market. Halt at Kohima. Homestay/ Hotel.

After breakfast drive from Khonoma to Kigwema village. After lunch visit nearby Angami village of Jakhama. Proceed to Touphema village, located 41 km from Kohima. Explore the village. Overnight at Touphema Tourist village resort.

Drive from Wokha to Mokokchung town. Mokokchung is the land of the Ao Nagas. Although almost all Aos have converted to Christianity, they still maintain their old customs and traditions, especially the tradition of hospitality that can be seen during Christmas. This is the time when everyone welcomes each other warmly in their homes. Afternoon visit Ungma village. Ungma is a historic village situated 10 km south of Mokokchung town. Ungma is one of the most ancient Ao villages and of great tourist interest to view the folklore, customs and traditions of Ao Naga. Ungma is one of the more developed villages in Nagaland. Legends indicate the early Aos settled here first after coming from Chungliyimti before migrating to the rest of Ao areas. An old log drum in the village is worth visiting. There is also a beautiful Park on the outskirts of the village. Halt at Mokokchung. Homestay/hotel Metsuben.

After breakfast proceed to Impur, Mopungchuket and Sungratsu villages. Impur was established as a mission centre in 1894 by the American missionaries. In 1897, when the Ao Baptist Arogo Mungdang Ao Baptist Church Association was formed, it became its headquarters and continues to do so till date. It is 15 kilometres away from Mokokchung town. It is also the Headquarters of AO churches ABAM in Nagaland which has about 159 churches under its Fold. It has a Higher Secondary school, Hospital and a church. It is surrounded by villages including Sungratsu, Mopungchuket and Longjang. Back to Mokokchung. Halt.

In the morning visit Mokokchung local market and proceed for Jorhat. Lunch at Tuli. En route visit Tea garden. Overnight at Jorhat.

Today after breakfast we visit Cinnamora Tea Estate. Evening local sight seeing. Halt at Jorhat.

Transfer to Dibrugarh Airport for onward journey.
