Day 10: Jaipur After breakfast full day sightseeing of Jaipur city and visiting the exquisite Hawa Mahal (palace of winds ) that has a legendary significance apart from being a world heritage site.It was perhaps the stone veil where from royal ladies were watching daily processions and life. Day 11: Jaipur - FatehpurSikri - Agra In the morning leave for Agra, en route you can pay a visit to the city Fatepur Sikri founded by Akbar,a mughal ruler in 1569 AD as his ceremonial capital. But unfortunately this magnificent city was abandoned due to scarcity of drinking water and Akbar went back to Agra to re-establish his capital estate. Continue your drive to Agra, arrive and check in at a Hotel.
Day 12: Agra After breakfast ,begin your Agra tour and get astonished at the glimpse of one of the wonders of the world, Taj Mahal ( initialized as a monument of love ), founded by the great Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as the mausoleum of his wife Anjuman Bano Begum ( with love emperor called her Mumtaz ). After her death in 1627 AD, in her memory the emperor started to build the Taj Mahal ( Taj means crown and Mahal means Palace, so it is Crown Palace ) which took around 22 years long time to get to completion, from 1631 to 1653 AD with twenty two thousand labors put to work . The white marbles were transported from Makrana in Rajasthan with the help of animals to erect this majestic architectural wonder and masterpiece of art. Day 13: Agra -Delhi ( 200 Km, 04 hours ) While driving to Delhi visit the crematorium of Akbar at Sikandra, which as per historical scriptures is believed to be started building up by himself and after his death, was finished by his son Jahangir. Continue your drive to Delhi, arrive and explore the busy market places there.
