Today, we will visit the exemplary Mysore Palace and The Chamundi hills. Jaganmohan Palace (Mysore Palace) was the retreat for the royal family of Maharaja Krishnaraja Wodeyar. The city is situated at the foothills of Chamundi Hills. Atop the hills is the famous Chamundeshwari temple, which reflects the belief that goddess Chamundeshwari killed a demon here. Monolith Nandi - the bull is also located near the temple.
Hassan is 03 hours journey from Mysore, covering a distance of 140 kilometres. This serene town with numerous accommodations offers a convenient base from which to explore the ruins, sculptures and monuments of the ancient cities of Belur and Halebid.

Hospet a small town in the state of Karnataka is adjacent to the world heritage site # The ancient city of Hampi. Hospet at a distance of 340 kilometres from Hassan will take us 08 hours to reach. Though the town has little to offer, yet one can see reminisces of the powerful Vijayanagar Empire.
Followed by the breakfast, we will get on with our excursion tour of the ancient city of Hampi. Later we will be on road for Badami en-routing Aihole and Pattadakal caves. These caves were built around the 8th century and houses several intricately built temples. Exhausted after covering a distance of 180 kilometres? The sightseeing tour of Badami offers the beautifully sculpted Melegetti Shivalya Temple and four carved caves in the Southern Hill.
