Pick up from Cochin airport. Drive to Munnar. Munnar is the most attracted hill station in south India; it is also famous for tea plantations. Check in to Ambady estate or The tall trees or KTDC tea county or Edassery eastend in Munnar. Overnight stay.
Day 5: After breakfast, proceed to Thiruvananthapuram city, the capital of Kerala and capital of former kingdom of Travancore. Select to visit 4 places of your interest from among Sree Padmanabha swami temple, Kanakakkunnu palace, Observatory, Science & technology museum, Legislative assembly, Kowdiar palace, Tagore centenary theatre, Trivandrum zoo, Sree chithira art gallery and Karalkada the textile shop for the Travancore royal family which is still a trustworthy shop for hand weave clothes. Back to Kovalam in the evening. One more night in Kovalam.
Day 6: After breakfast, proceed to Kochi (Cochin), the business capital of Kerala. Check in to Poovath heritage hotel or Old lighthouse bristow hotel or Hotel victory dawn or Hotel arches in Fort Cochin.
Fort kochi & Mattanchery is the western part of Kochi. This is the old
Kochi. Fort kochi was under the possession of the Portuguese, the Dutch and the British at different periods of time. The region still bears the cultural influence of Europe. Visit Jewish synagogue, Mattanchery palace, Indo Portuguese museum, Chinese fishing nets, Promenade with fresh sea breeze, Dutch cemetery, Jain temple, St. Francis church and Santa cruz basilica.
