Upon arrival at New Delhi / Chandigarh airport or railway station get transferred to Shimla - the capital of the state of Himachal Pradesh. After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a half day excursion to Kufri, 14 km from Shimla (2500mts). Visit Indira Bungalow & the Himalayan Zoo (closed on Monday). You can also take a Pony ride to Mashu Peak. Afternoon: Visit the Viceregal Lodge, former residence of British Viceroy of India. Later you will be dropped at the Mall Road. Attractions of the Mall include Shimla Church, Scandal Point, Gaiety Theatre, Town hall & shopping. Evening, return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
