Dulce Nombre de Jesus is a metropolis and district quantity 3 in the canton of Vasquez de Coronado, province of San Jose, Costa Rica, based in 1910. It is placed inside the west of the canton and has a territorial extension of 67.86 km². The district is bordered to the northwest via the canton of Heredia, to the west by way of the cantons of San Isidro and Moravia, to the south through the districts of Pattillo and San Isidro, to the southeast by using the district of San Rafael and to the east with the district of Cascajal.
