Pizhou

Pizhou is a region level city under the organization of Xuzhou, Jiangsu area, China. Starting at 2006 it had a populace of 163,000; it fringes the Shandong prefecture-level urban communities of Linyi toward the upper east and Zaozhuang toward the northwest. Pizhou deceives the upper east of Xuzhou City at the crossing point of the Grand Canal and Longhai Railway. Toward the north of Pizhou, there is the notable Tai'erzhuang District of Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province. Pizhou City is home to the longest Dawn redwood Metasequoia glyptostroboides road on the planet. The road is around 60 km long with more than one million trees.

The city was earlier called Pi County, and before that, Xiapi which was at one time the capital of the Zhou Dynasty 1046– 256 BCE vassal State of Pi. Amid the Han Dynasty 206 BCE– 220 CE, Pi was a popular city. At the season of the Three Kingdoms Period, the city is known for the fight between Lu Bu and Cao battled there. It is the area Lu Bu withdrawn to when under attack by Cao at Xiaopei. Amid World War II, the Battle of Taierzhuang occurred in Tengzhou. You can visit this place with your loved ones.
