This is a great insight into various cultures, but at the same time a bit overwhelming in its sheer variety. The doll collection from Japan was clearly the pick of the lot. Among the Indian states, Kerela had an amazing collection. All in all, a good museum that could do with some background information about the collection. It has a collection of thousands of dolls from approximately 80-90 countries. Dolls as old as 230 years are kept here. No photography is allowed inside the museum. Can be covered in about 45-60 minutes. Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. and remains closed on every Monday. Entry fee is Rs.15.00 per adult and Rs.5.00 per child.
