It is believed to be the resting place of Lord Jesus Christ who was crucified here at the spot where Church of the Holy Sepulchre stands. This church is one of the most important destinations for pilgrims as well as tourists. It also is home to Temple Mount which is considered sacred in Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Jerusalem is also the capital and the largest city of Israel.
