NCMF is held both at the Nightingale Concert Hall on North Virginia St. and at the South Reno United Methodist Church off of Mt.Rose Highway. Its uniqueness is judged on the basis of its remarkable mix of events such as nine intimate performances, appreciating concerts like “Chopin, Liszt and Friends – A Piano Showcase,” acts in the honor of the music of Bach and Beethoven.
Further, piano recital by Orion Weiss, traditional New Year’s Eve party at the Grand Sierra Resort and a lecture-performance by Robert Levin, all are more than sufficient to attract large number of enthusiastic audience.
