Kumluca

Kumluca is a town and area of Antalya Province on the Mediterranean bank of Turkey, some portion of the Turkish Riviera. Kumluca is found 90 km west of the city of Antalya, on the Teke Peninsula. Its neighbor towns are Korkuteli, Elmali, Finike, Kemer and Antalya. The town of Kumluca, once in the past the town of Sarikavak, is named for its sandy soil, useful for developing watermelons.

The center point of the area is a plain pointing north from the Mediterranean drift and encompassed by mountains on 3 sides. The northern piece of the region is uneven and rugged. Summers are sweltering and dry, winters cool and wet as one would expect in a Mediterranean area. The drift never gets snow however it snows in the mountains. There are ious imperative verifiable locales in the region of Kumluca including Olympos, Kitanaura, Korydalla, Rhodiapolis, Idebessos and Gagai; of these Olympos is the biggest and draws in the most guests.

There is 30 km of drift with numerous inns and eateries between the towns of Adrasan and Olympos, and occasion towns close to the town of Mavikent. West of Mavikent there is less improvement however taken all in all Kumluca is one of the quickest developing neighborhood economies in Turkey.
