Niederhasli

Niederhasli is a municipality in the district of Dielsdorf within the canton of Zurich in Switzerland. The coat of arms of the municipality Niederhasli refers to Lords of Mandach, who owned large elements of brand new political community within the Middle Ages. The barons of Tengen were also once wealthy in Niederhasli. Niederhasli become first 931 as Haslia documented and entered 1442 in the ownership of the town of Zurich. 1530-1534 become the Reformer Ulrich Bolt pastor in Niederhasli. With Paul Bohringer any other well-known theologian labored from 1875 to 1879 at this parish.

Niederhasli is in general a commuter community. A large a part of the population works in Zurich. In the municipality there are tank farms, a field dealing with middle, a flour mill, a plastics factory and numerous other small and medium-sized groups. Between Niederhasli and Mettmenhasli is the Mettmenhaslisee, colloquially Näppi or Haslisee known as. The lake is fed through a groundwater impact and drained by using the Haslibach. On the north shore of the lake there's a nature reserve while at the south bank a bathhouse spreads.
