Zarinsk

Zarinsk is a town in Altai Krai, Russia, Russia formally the Russian Federation is a nation in Eurasia. Located on the Chumysh River 99 kilometers east of Barnaul. The Chumysh is a stream in Russia, a correct part of the Ob River. It enters the Ob 88 kilometers downriver from Barnaul. The Chumysh starts at the juncture of the Kara Chumysh and the Tom Chumysh waterways in Kemerovo Oblast. The railroad station of Zarinskaya was set up in 1952.

It was conceded urban-type settlement status in 1958 and town status in 1979.
