Campia Turzii

Campia Turzii is a municipality in Cluj County, Romania, which changed into shaped in 1925 through the union of two villages, Ghiris and Sancrai. It became d a metropolis in 1950 and a city in 1998. The village of Sâncrai became noted in a 1219 file as "villa Sancti Regis" "village of Holy King", at the same time as Ghiriş turned into first documented in 1292 as "Terra Gerusteleke" "Gerusteleke", literally that means "plot of Gerus" in Hungarian. In April 2015, a U.S. Air Force institution of A-10 Thunderbolt attack aircraft stationed in Germany arrived at the RoAF 71st Air Base to participate in sporting activities with the Romanian Air Force.
