About Choijin Lama Temple

It is a Buddhist cloister in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. The mind boggling comprises of six sanctuaries initially possessed by the sibling of the ruler the Eighth Bogd Jetsun Dampa Khan, Choijin Lama Luvsankhaidav, who was the state prophet and 'Valuable Wisdom and Clear Devotion' Khutugtu at the time. The complex was started in 1904 and finished in 1908, out of appreciation for the State Oracle Lama Lubsanhaidub/Losang Kedrup/, sibling of the eighth Bogd Khan.

The Choijin Lama Museum was initially a Buddhist sanctuary complex, comprising of one primary and five branch sanctuaries. It was dynamic until 1937, when it was shut amid the stature of Communist suppression against Buddhism and different religious conventions. In 1938 the complex was re-set up as historical center because of adroit endeavors of savvy individuals. This was the way it was spared all through socialism.
