Tlaltetela

Tlaltetela is a district situated in the focal region of the province of Veracruz, Mexico. Its city head likewise takes the name of Tlaltetela, being this the greatest town of the region. Tlaltetela originates from Nahuatl and means place on the stones. The shield of the district has in the upper part the name of the equivalent, and in the lower part the toponymy, four detachments in the center part, in whose upper part shows up a glyph of Huitzilapan which means gorge of the fish, in the lower some portion of the glyph of Tlaltetela, on the correct side two stories.

In 1927 a city advisory group of Tlaltetela was framed, which is added to the alliance of agrarian networks of the territory of Veracruz, for 1934 it ascends to district Axocuapan, with head in Tlaltetela, in 1979 changes name of the region to the present one. You can come to visit this place.
