Coyutla

Coyutla formerly referred to as calixaxan, which in its Totonac indigenous dialect way Place of six houses is a Mexican municipality positioned inside the northern area of the kingdom of Veracruz, within the location called Totonacapan; it's far one of the 212 municipalities of the nation. It is positioned at coordinates 20 ° 15 "north range and 97° 39" west longitude, and at an altitude of a hundred and sixty meters above sea level. The municipality includes forty localities wherein 30,843 people stay.

It limits to the north with Puebla, to the south with Coxquihui, Chumatlan and Mecatlan, to the east with Coatzintla and Espinal and to the west with Filomeno Mata and State of Puebla. Coyutla has its celebrations on November 30 in which the customer saint festivities are held in honor of San Andres. This pageant allows a very good approach of the communities and residents specifically because of the reality that a diffusion of dances is achieved, amongst which the so-known as La Malinche stands proud.
