The Steinbrou distillery was established in 1997 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Our objective was to make a brew generation relating to the German Rheinheitsgebot = a necessity for cleanliness and an eatery with conventional German cuisine. The setting sun pouring through an upper window lights up a Kyrgyz yurt-crown hung in bounces in this roomy two-level lager corridor. The bar is worked around a shining copper mix vessel whose smaller scale blended brews are the principle draw.
There's a full menu of German and European meals, or seven types of sausages to snack on. It's hidden amid apartments at the east end of Bokonbaevo.
