About Kawardha
Widely known for the "Temple of Bhoramdeo", Kawardha is located in the state of Chhattisgarh and is a beautiful and the civil headquarters of the Kabirdham District. Kawardha city was founded by its First Ruler Mahabali Singh in the year 1751. The city is irrefutably renowned for Temple of Bhoramdheo. It is one of the most famous temples in the state and is located at a distance of 16 Kms from Kawardha. It is said that one can have the visual treat of various excellent carvings and statues in the temple.
The temples were constructed in the 11th century and are still well preserved regardless of their age. The style of the architecture is matchless and is one of the most visited tourist places in the region.
