Chilakaluripet

Chilakaluripet is a city in Guntur area of the Indian province of Andhra Pradesh. It is the mandal home office of Chilakaluripet mandal in Narasaraopet income division. It is situated in the Coastal Andhra area of the state at 16.10°N 80.16°E in the on the Eastern waterfront fields. Chilakaluripeta is found 40 km 25 mi south-west of the locale base camp Guntur, and 75 kilometers 46 mi north of Amaravati state capital. The city is situated in zone 3 according to Earthquake zones of India. Krishna River water from the Nagarjuna Sagar Right Canal is the principal wellspring of water for the residents.
Chilakaluripet Municipality was constituted in 1964 as a third-grade region. It was moved up to second grade in 1980 and to initially review in 2001. The locale of the district is spread over a region of 18.13 km 11.27 mi with 34 wards. Chilakaluripet is a piece of Chilakaluripet Assembly supporters for Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly. Prathipati Pulla Rao is the present MLA of the voting public from Telugu Desam Party.
