Keratsini

Keratsini is a suburb inside the western part of the Piraeus regional unit, it's far a part of Athens agglomeration, Greece. Since the 2011 nearby authorities reform it's far part of the municipality Keratsini-Drapetsona, of which it's far the seat and a municipal unit. Keratsini has its personal non-expert choir mixed voices, SATB. It has participated in many instances in fairs all round Greece. The city has its own choir festival called global track pageant.

Keratsini hosts the soccer club Keratsini FC with in advance presence in Gamma Ethniki and the basketball club Faros Keratsiniou B.C. With presence in A2 Ethniki basketball. Keratsini is situated at the Saronic Gulf coast, 3 km or 1.9 mi northwest of Piraeus and approximately 10 kilometres or 6 miles west of Athens metropolis centre. The municipal unit has a place of 7.601 km2. The coastal place consists mainly of port facilities, a part of the Port of Piraeus.
