Aflao

Aflao is a metropolis in Ketu South District inside the Volta Region on Ghana's Togolese eastern border. Aflao is the twenty-eighth most populous agreement in Ghana, in phrases of population, with a population of 96,550people. In the 18th century, Aflao served as one of the fundamental markets for the slave exchange.

Aflao is placed on the eastern coast of Ghana and is the principal border town with neighboring Togo. The Diamond Cement Ghana Limited manufacturing unit is placed at Aflao. In early 2014, a 2.5 km rail siding become completed to connect the cement works to the port of Lome. This siding crosses the border from Togo to Ghana and is of the 1,000 mm gauge.Aflao as traditional vicinity has Togbui Amenya Fiti V as her Paramount Chief. He is the traditional ruler of the land and performs traditional administrative and ceremonial functions in the location.
