About Südbrookmerland
Sudbrookmerland is located in Ostfriesland within the northwest of Lower Saxony between the cities of Aurich and Emden. It turned into created on 1 July 1972 as part of the municipal reform by using the merger of ten formerly unbiased municipalities, which nowadays form the villages. With 18,513 inhabitants Sudbrookmerland is the third biggest municipality of the district Aurich after the cities Aurich and north and after Moormerland and Westoverledingen the third largest rural network Ostfrieslands. It is characterized by means of agriculture and tourism with a focus on the Great Sea, the fourth largest lake in Lower Saxony.
