In the morning head to the Naga Heritage village in Kisama, the venue of the Hornbill Festival. This festival is organized by the Government of Nagaland every year in the first week of December to encourage inter-tribal interaction and to promote cultural heritage of Nagaland. Khonoma, the first and only green village in Nagaland is a fine example of conservation by the local community, where hunting and logging is banned.
