Ecstatic 3 Days 2 Nights Kumarakom Vacation Package

My family (including a 4 year kid) was on a 6D and 7N package around Kerala (Cochin, Munnar, Thekkady, Kumarkom and Alleppy) with Nandanam Tours and Travels from 1/1/2014 to 7/1/2014. They had promised a Indica car but they provided a Travera which was a very pleasant surprise upon arrival. The driver Mr. Amilnath was again one gem of a person who was so supportive to an extent that once he took us to his friend's house in Alleppy when we could not find a proper place to get freshen up after playing in the beach. Almost all the hotels booked for us was good. Although we felt that our stay at Viakom (White Gate Residency) was actually not required. The houseboat experience was an awesome one. The houseboat staff were very cordial. The best part was they allowed us to fish with their fishing equipments and prepared excellent fries of our catch. Although I felt that the lunch and breakfast menu could have been better. I request Mr. Murali to kindly teach a little bit more hindi to Amilnath otherwise my overall experience with Nandanam Tours and Travels was a good one and I would like to congratulate Mr. Murali and Amilnath for making my trip to kerala a memorable one. I will definitely recommend their services to other members.

Mr Murali Menon was our travel agent.The trip was well organized.Driver who took us around was Mr Rathish Kumar and he was very very helpful and concerned.However we were promised 3star accomodation wherever we were to stay and this promise was not kept at two of the hotels.In fact at Munnar and Thekkady we were given hotels 40km away from the main city which meant an added 2hrs of travel .The itinerary given showed much lesser travel time between two places whereas it took much more time and this was highly disappointing .At Trivandrum we had a sudden change of hotel n the hotel we were made to stay in had bed bugs n we had to change rooms .My request to all who travel.... do confirm actual travel timing n hotel details before u go We pay for relaxation n facilities n a hassle free vacation but often we feel cheated
