This morning, we will proceed to visit the tea factory at Dibrugarh to observe the full process of manufacturing of CTC (Crush, Tear and Curl) tea. Here, one can try his / her hand on peeking at the tea making machine. Here, you will watch that the labourers are laying out raked leaves to be dried before the fermentation process in a sophisticated manner. After breakfast, we will leave for Jorhat. En-route we will visit Sivasagar. The capital of Ahom dynasty, Sivasagar is located 60 km before the Jorhat town. Here, we will visit the remains of Ahom Kingdom. The Ahom dynasty ruled Assam for 600 years before giving in to British. Here, we will visit to Tai Ahom Museum and the Maidams (Mummy like structures) of Ahom kings Burial grounds at Charaideo. The other remains of the Ahom Dynasty will be the manmade artificial lake created by Queen Madambika in 1734, Shiva dol-the tallest Shiva temple in the world, palaces of Kareng Ghar and Talatal Ghar, Gaurisagar Tank along with three temples. continue drive to Jorhat.
