+After breakfast check out from hotel & visit Junagarh Fort which includes Anup Mahal, Gaj Mandir, Sheesh Mahal and Prachina Museum, Lalgarh Palace. After that transfer to Jaisalmer. Enroute visit Jaisalmer War Museum - The Jaisalmer War Museum is located 10 km short of Jaisalmer on the Jaisalmer - Jodhpur Highway. The unique museum has been designed with the view of honouring the contributions and sacrifices of war heroes, and to highlight their bravery. It also traces the evolution of the Indian Army. Jaisalmer Local Sightseeing & Sam Dunes Culture Evening. (25 Kms / 01 Hrs.)
+After breakfast visit the Jaisalmer Fort which is made by unique Golden Lime stone, that’s why its known as Golden Fort or Sonar Kella. After that visit Patwon-ki-haveli, Nathmal-ki-haveli. Salim singh-ki-Haveli. People still live in these ancient buildings dating from 12th to 15th century. Every house has exquisite carvings and filigreed work. Later on visit to Gadisar Lake you can do the boat ride also. Late afternoon leave for Sam dunes. Do the Desert Camel Safari start for Sam Sand Dunes on edge of Desert National Park. Located in the midst of Thar Desert the camp recreates the magical atmosphere of a traditional Mediaeval Desert Camp on a trade route. The Camp provides for all the comforts. The accommodation consists of Swiss Cottage Type tents with attached baths having running hot & cold water. +Early after early morning breakfast drive to Jodhpur. Arrive Jodhpur check into. Later on embark for Jodhpur Sightseeing. Jodhpur Ranakpur Kumbhalgarh Haldighati Udaipur (300 Kms / 08 Hrs.)
+After early breakfast leave for Udaipur. En-route visit to Ranakpur temples of the Jains, built in the 15th century in the lovely valley of Aravallis. It has grand structure & beautiful Sculptures. The 1444 pillars in the temple are different from each other. The magic of light & shade is really awe- inspiring. Later visit to Kumbhalgarh - the second most important citadel after Chittorgarh in the Mewar region. Cradled in the Aravali Ranges the fort was built in the 15th century by Rana Kumbha. Because of its inaccessibility and hostile topography the fort had remained un-conquered. It also served the rulers of Mewar as a refuge in times of strife. The fort also served as refuge to the baby king Udai of Mewar. It is also of sentimental significance as it is the birthplace of Mewar's legendary King Maharana Partap. Udaipur - Mt. Abu Sightseeing (170 Kms / 03 Hrs. Drive)
+Today after early breakfast check out from Hotel and leave for Mount Abu. Mount Abu - located 4000 ft above sea level is solitary hill station i.e. also a pilgrimage center for Jains. The only hill resort of Rajasthan. Mt. Abu is not only rated among the best hill stations of the country but is also an important Rajput. The town forms an amphitheatre around Nakki Lake, which is believed to be dug out by the goods with their nail (Nakh). Afternoon visit world famous Dilwara Jain Temple- consisting of five jain temples built from the beginning of the 11th century onwards with intricate ornamental carvings represent the climax in the art of decoration in stones. No visit to Abu can be complete without a trip to the Dilwara temples. These temples are the greatest draw of Abu, Nakki Lake - the lake is picturesquely set amidst hills, 1200 mtrs. Mount Abu - Udaipur Local Sightseeing (170 Kms / 03 Hrs. Drive)
+Today breakfast check out from Hotel and leave for Udaipur. Arrive Udaipur check into Hotel. Later on embark to Udaipur local Sightseeing. Udaipur - the "City of Lakes" is perhaps the most romantic and beautiful cities of India. In contrast to its desert neighborhood it stands out with an enchanting image of white marble palaces, placid blue lakes, gardens and temples surrounded by hills and mountains. It was founded by Maharana Udai Singh in 1559 A.D. on the shored of Lake Pichola visit The City Palace - this is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan, construction of which was started by Udai Singh. This white marble architectural marvel, standing majestically on a hill is surrounded by crenellated walls. This huge edifice 30.4 meters high and 244 meters long was added on to, by later rulers, but the additions are so well planned and integrated, it is difficult to believe that it was not conceived as complete structure, drive around Fateh Sagar lake - this fine lake, lying to the north of and connected by a small canal with Lake Pichola, was originally built by Maharana Jai Singh, in 1678 AD, Sahelion-ki-Bari or " Garden of the Maids of Honour" was laid out for a group of forty-eight young women attendants who accompanied a princess to Udaipur as part of dowry, Partap Smarak: A memorial to the legendary warrior Rana Pratap, Bhartiya Lok Mandal Museum - a museum of folk arts, it displays a rich collection of folk musical instruments and paintings. Udaipur - Chittaurgarh Garadia Mahadev - Kota (300 Kms / 07 Hrs.)
+After breakfast drive to Kota. En-route visit to Chittaurgarh and visit to The Fort - standingtall over a 180 meter high hillock and sprawling over 700 acres, the fort is a standing edifice to the valour of Chittaurgarh, Vijay Stambh or Victory Tower - Built by Rana Kumbha in 1440 AD to commemorate his victory over the combined forces of the kings of neighboring Malwa and Gujrat, this tower is 120 feet high and has a girth of 30 feet at the base, Kirti Stambh - Built in the 12th century, it was dedicated to Lord Sri Adinath Rishabdeo, the first Jain Tirthankar. The 22 meter high structure is peplete with figures from the Jain pantheon. Continue our drive toward Kota, en-route visit Garadia Mahadev temple, This is the same temple which Rajasthan tourism board taken in their advertisement. Continue to Kota, Kota - known as the industrial capital of Rajasthan. It has an interesting blend of the Old and the New. The fort, overlooking the mighty Chambal River, is the foremost tourist attraction here. The town is dotted with age-old monuments and temples retaining the glory of bygone era, as well as present day edifices and heavy industries. The history of the city dates back to the 12th century A.D., when Hada Chieftain, Rao Deva Conquered the territory and founded Bundi and Hadoti. Afternoon sightseeing of Kota. Kota - Ranthambore (110 Kms - 2 Hrs. Drive Approx.)
+Morning drive to Ranthambore National Park - it is a small village near Sawai Madhopur and is named after the two hills, Ran and Thambhor which are in close proximity. The ancient fort is built on the Thambhor hill, and is believed to be the oldest fort of the state. Afternoon visit to 13thCentaury historical Ranthambore fort surrounded by the Vindhyas and Aravalis, amidst vast arid denuded tracts of Rajasthan, lies the Oasis of Biomass in an Ecological desert, the great Ranthambore, the most eminent ruler of the Fort was Rao Hamir who ruled around 1296 A.D. There are various places of Historical Places inside the fort namely Toran Dwar, Mahadeo Chhatri, Sameton KiHaveli, 32-Pillard Chhatri, Mosque & the Ganesh Temple, the biggest attraction of the Fort. Later 3 hours Canter deep into the Jungle to see the Tiger and Leopard, the main predators found in this reserve. Hyena & Jackal are the Scavengers. Sloth Bear and Wild Bear are the main carnivores. The main herbivores found in this Park are Spotted Deer, Sambhar Deer, Nilgai (Bluebell) antelope, Chinkara (Indian gazelle) and the common langur. Overnight at Ranthambore.
Ranthambore - Jaipur (175 Kms - 3 Hrs. Drive Approx.)
+Today's drive to Jaipur - Known as the "Pink City", Jaipur is the capital of the colorful state of Rajasthan. En route visit to the deserted the 17th century fortress of Amber Fort - marvelous example of Rajput architecture with its terraces and ramparts reflected in the Maota Lake below. Go up the fort ascended on Caparisoned Elephant true to the style of the Maharajas of the past. The interiors of the fort have various royal halls decorated with intricate ivory, mirror and glasswork complemented by exquisite wall paintings. Jaipur - Pushkar Ajmer Jaipur. (300 Kms / Full Day)
+Today after Breakfast leave for Excustion tour to Pushkar – Ajmer. Pushkar is 12 kms to the northwest of Ajmer, is a celebrated pilgrimage center. The town also attracts visitors from across the world during the cattle fair, held here annually. The winding road from Anmer through Nag Pahar (Snake Mountain) leads to the ancient Pushkar Lake. Pushkar town stretches around the lake with hills on three sides and sandy stretches on the fourth. Pushkar is very sacred to the Hindus and is refereed to as “Tirth Raj” or the king of all pilgrimage centers. visit to Pushkar Lake, Bhrama Temple continue toward Ajmer is a green oasis on the shore of Ana Sagar Lake, hemmed in by barren hills. Historically Ajmer has always had great strategic importance. It was founded in 7th century by Ajaipal Chauhan. He named it Ajaimeru the 'invincible hill', because here he raised Taragarh, India's first hill fort. The city's Muslim history began when Prithviraj Chauhan lost Ajmer to Sultan Muhammad Ghori in 1193 A.D. The Persian saint Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti who came with Muhammad Ghori from Persia in 1192 settled here. Thus the place where he was buried is today known as the Dargah Sharif. Construction of the shrine was completed by Humayun and the gates were added by the Nizam of Hyderabad. Later Shah Jahan constructed a mosque of white marble; it has 11 arches and a Persian inscription running the full length of the building. Beyond the Dargah is the Adhai din ka Jhonpra an ancient Sanskrit college, which was converted into mosque in 1198 and remains one of the finest monuments of medieval India. Continue to drive back toward Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur check into Hotel. Evening visit to Chokhi Dhani (Optional). Night at Jaipur.
