Jiangyin

Jiangyin is a county-level metropolis at the southern financial institution of the Yangtze River, and is administered through Wuxi, Jiangsu province. Jiangyin is one of the most essential shipping hubs at the Yangtze River, it is also one of the most developed counties in China. Jiangyin become a township of Yanling county first of all. Since the township became located inside the north of Ji Lake, it became given the call "Jiyang". In 281, it become promoted as a county of Piling commandery. In 558, the north-west part become taken far from then Lanling county to create Jiangyin county.

It become served as the seat of Jiangyin commandery, of which jurisdiction equating to the present day metropolis's, till the commandery become dissolved in 589. It become elevated to jun reputation in the course of Southern Tang, till being restored as a county of Changzhou in 1071. It advanced as an essential port for foreign places trades, and a Maritime Trade Supervisorate became installed to manage in 1145.
