Clayton

Clayton is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 19 km south-east of Melbourne's focal business district. Its nearby government territory is the City of Monash. At the 2016 Census, Clayton had a populace of 19,358. The fundamental concentration for the suburb of Clayton is the shopping strip that keeps running along Clayton Road. The nearby railroad station, arranged at the northern end of the shopping strip bears the name Clayton rail route station.

A huge new working at the edge of Cooke Street and Center Road was opened in April 2008. It houses the Clayton part of the Monash Public Library Service, a swimming pool, rec center, guiding administrations, wellbeing and youngster care administrations, theatrette and meeting rooms.
