Evionnaz

Evionnaz is a municipality in the district of Saint-Maurice in the canton of Valais in Switzerland. Evionnaz has been mentioned as Eviona for the first time in 1263. It became an independent municipality in 1822, when it was separated from Saint-Maurice. As of 2010, Avianjaz's unemployment rate was 6.2%. As of 2008, 17 people were employed in the primary economic zone and approximately 5 occupations were included in this area. 459 people were working in the secondary sector and there were 15 occupations in this area.
