About House of the Good Shepherd

The House of the Good Shepherd is situated in the Old Town beneath Bratislava Castle. The townhouse was developed for a neighborhood dealer and the lower some portion of the building was utilized for business purposes, the upper part to live. It is one of only a handful couple of structures in the region underneath Bratislava Castle to hold their unique state, generally because of the destruction of a great part of the Jewish quarter in the twentieth century.

Today, the house is home to the Museum of Clocks, which displays antique tickers produced using seventeenth to the start of the twentieth century, having some expertise in eighteenth and nineteenth-century timepieces from Bratislava clock creators. The ground floor and storm cellar fill in as a bar. It picked up its title on account of the statue of Christ, the Good Shepherd, on its corner. The House of the Good Shepherd is thought to be a standout amongst the most excellent Rococo-style structures in Central Europe.
