Caprivi

Caprivi, or the Caprivi Strip, is a salient of Namibia that is and has been recognised via diverse names. The salient protrudes eastward for about 450 km from the north-eastern nook of Namibia. It is bordered via Botswana to the south, and by using Angola and Zambia to the north. Its jap tip is best about 100 m from the borders of Zimbabwe. Within Namibia, it's far divided administratively between Kavango East and Zambezi regions. It is crossed by the Okavango; the Kwando/Chobe river bureaucracy part of its border with Botswana; and the Zambezi river bureaucracy a part of its border with Zambia.

The strip is ready 32 km wide, and its region is slightly larger than the United States country of Maryland. Its biggest agreement is Katima Mulilo, placed at the factor where the Zambezi river reaches the Strip. Inhabitants of the Caprivi Strip speak a number of African languages, normally individuals of the Bantu language family, with speakers of Hukwe, a San language, in the northwest of the strip at the border with Angola.
