Taldykorgan also spelled Taldy-Kurgan is a town and workplace of Almaty oblast of Kazakhstan. The city is located at the left bank of Karatal River and in the western foothills of Dzungarian Alatau Mountains. Taldykorgan foundation of name: poplar citadel.
