Early morning 6:00, we leave for Anuradhapura via Chilaw and Puttalam – Approximately 5h 30 minutes Drive. En route visit Chilaw & Puttalam city. Puttalam is the home to one of Sri Lanka’s largest lagoons also called Puttalam lagoon. Thereafter continue to Anuradhapura. Anuradhapura is one of the ancient capitals of Sri Lanka. Anuradhapura famous for its well-preserved ruins of ancient Lankan civilization. From the 4th century BC, it was the capital of Sri Lanka until the beginning of the 11th century AD. During this period it remained one of the most stable and durable centres of political power and urban life in South Asia. The ancient city, considered sacred to the Buddhist world, is today surrounded by monasteries covering an area of over sixteen square miles (40 km²). We wil visit the Sri Maha Bodhi An offshoot of the historical Bodhi tree under which Buddha became enlightened was planted in Anuradhapura in 288 BC. Ruwanwelisaya Stupa is considered a marvel for its architectural qualities. Abhayagiri Dagaba, This is one of the most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage towns and extensive ruins in the world. Visit other Anuradhapura sightseeing. Check in the hotel. Overnight stay at Anuradhapura.

After breakfast we go to Trincomalee and visit the city. Approximately 3h 30 minutes Drive. visit Fort Fredrick. Visit Pigeon Island And Snorkeling in Pigeon Optional: next day morning whales and dolphin watching. Check in the hotel. Overnight stay at Trincomalee.

Oak Ray Elephant Lake Hotel 4

After breakfast at the hotel and leave to Sigiriya. Approximately 2h 30 minutes Drive. En route visit hot water well. Climb to an ancient rock fortress-Lion Rock. elephant rides with village camp. Optional: evening Minneriya National Park. Check in the hotel. Overnight stay at Sigiriya.

After breakfast at the hotel and leave to Kandy and have a small Break – Approximately 3h 30 minutes Drive. En route visit Dambulla cave temple. Second visit Matale Spice and Herbal Garden.
