After breakfast go on a sightseeing tour of Oslo. On this tour you can experience Downtown Oslo, Vigeland Sculpture Park, Holmenkollen & Viking Ship Museum. From Bygdy (museum island) there is a free choice of return to the city centre the entire year by bus or boat. (By boat, weather permitting). Overnight stay in Oslo.

After breakfast go to the airport. Depart by air to northern Norway. (2 hours flying time). From the airport take a bus from Alta to Hammerfest. Go to your hotel and check in. Now you are in the land of the Midnight sun. Hammerfest is the northernmost town in the world, the gate towards the Barents Sea. Once in Hammerfest you can become a member of the Royal and Ancient Polar Bear Society. Overnight stay in Hammerfest.

Leave on the Norwegian Coastal Steamer Hurtigruten. It will be an early morning, but it is worth it. This tour is called the worlds most beautiful sea voyage. Be out on deck and look at the amazing arctic nature. You will travel east through Mageroysund sound to Honningsvg. Thanks to its excellent sheltered harbour, Honningsvg has become a major fishing port and the capital of the North Cape region. At midday you arrive at Honningsvg, which is the only town at the North Cape Island. Go to your hotel and check in, and have all afternoon to look around in Honningsvg. After dinner at the hotel there is a public bus leaving from the town centre to North Cape. Enter the North Cape hall. In there are several shops, a wide screen movie, a post for special North Cape stamps and many other things. Dont miss to go out to the famous North Cape cliffs and look at the end of the world and weather permitting, see the sun that never sets. After midnight the same bus leaves from North Cape back to Honningsvg. It is about 45 minutes drive through amazingly beautiful landscape and daylight at midnight. Overnight stay in Honningsvag.

After breakfast (time permitting) go from the hotel to see the Rock Carvings. The Alta rock carvings are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. They are 6000 to 2500 years old from the late Stone Age and early Bronze Age. The carvings have everyday motifs: animals such as bears, moose and reindeer, hunting situations and boats are the most common figures. There are human figures in processions and magical symbols. Make your way to the airport and fly back to Oslo and from there straight on to Bergen. Overnight stay in Bergen.

After breakfast go on a sightseeing tour in Bergen, and get to know more about Bergens rich history as a trading and commercial center. The Bryggen area shows what the town looked like during the period when the Hanseatic League was in power in Bergen. Overnight stay in Bergen.

On the Hardanger in a nutshell trip, you will experience a journey through a landscape of majestic mountains, roaring waterfalls and idyllic orchards. You start travel by bus and after by boats. Ulvik is situated at the north end of the Ulvikafjord, an arm of the Hardangerfjord surrounded by high mountains. Overnight stay in Ulvik.

After breakfast at the hotel you take a bus to Gudvangen where you board a boat that will take you on a cruise on the Sognefjord to Flm. In Flm change boat to Balestrand. Afternoon sightseeing tour to the glaciers. Overnight stay in Balestrand.
