Montreal rates as one of the world most better than average urban groups, and was named "Canada's Cultural Capital" by Monocle Magazine and a UNESCO "City of Design".
The Lonely Planet travel oversees fuses Montreal in its "10 most cheerful places in the World" summary in second place.
