Kitchener

Kitchener is a city in southern Ontario, Canada. Approximately 100 km west of Toronto, found in the west, Kitchener is the seat of the regional municipality of Waterloo. It was the city of Berlin from 1854 to 1912 and the Berlin city from 1912 to 1916. The kitchen city covers an area of 136.86 square kilometers, and there was a population of 233,222 in the 2016 census season. The Kitchener metropolitan region, which incorporates the littler, neighboring urban areas of Waterloo toward the north and Cambridge toward the south, has 523,894 individuals, making it the tenth biggest Census Metropolitan Area CMA in Canada and the fourth biggest CMA in Ontario.

Kitchener and Waterloo are viewed as "twin urban areas" which are frequently alluded to mutually as "Kitchener– Waterloo" K– W, in spite of the fact that they have isolate metropolitan governments. Counting Cambridge, the three urban communities are known as "the Tri-Cities". All are a piece of the Regional Municipality of Waterloo, which was made in 1973, when it supplanted Waterloo County, which had been made in 1853. In 1784, the land that Kitchener was based upon was a zone given to the Six Nations by the British as a present for their devotion amid the American Revolution; 240,000 hectares of land to be correct.
