About Jakar
Jakar itself is a clamoring two-street town and unquestionably defended even in spite of a wander, however, most of the shopfronts are new, as shops were altered after three blazes destroyed a huge piece of the town in 2010.
In like manner with ious towns in Bhutan, Jakar needs to at last move region to the new town of Dekyiling, just north of the Sey Lhakhang.
The new town bouleds are done, however, no date has been given for the gigantic move.
Bumthang's Bathpalathang plane terminal is on the east bank of the Chamkhar Chhu.
There is a strong up-valley turn from the south every night, which makes Jakar nippy in the evening times.
