Avondale Heights

Avondale Heights is a city, 12 km north-west of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Its neighborhood government territory is the City of Moonee Valley. At the 2011 Census, Avondale Heights had a populace of 10,990. Avondale Heights is situated on a level limited by an extensive curve of the Maribyrnong River toward the east, south, and west, and toward the north by Buckley Street. The rural area gets its name from the Avondale Estate. Initially known as Maribyrnong West, when the Council embraced to change the name, postal specialists attracted consideration regarding the presence of Avondale in Queensland. The rural area was along these lines called Avondale Heights to recognize it from the Queensland town.
