Lima is a city in and the region seat of Allen County, Ohio, United States. The region is situated in northwestern Ohio along Interstate 75 around 72 miles north of Dayton and 78 miles south-southwest of Toledo.
It is the chief city of and is incorporated into the Lima, Ohio metropolitan factual territory, which is incorporated into the Lima– Van Wert– Wapakoneta, OH, consolidated measurable zone. Lima was established in 1831.
The Lima Army Tank Plant, worked in 1941, is the sole maker of the M1 Abrams.
