Qutub minar is known for its height and at 120 meters, is the tallest brick minaret in the world, and the second tallest minar in India. This is located in delhi and has a height of 240 feet and is completely made of sandstone and also marble. This has a shape of a cone with a wide base at the bottom and a sharp cone at the top. This is actually a historic monument and is also surrounded by many monuments around it.
There are different storeys some are made with marble and some are made with sandstone. There are different carvings on the stones of this qutub minar. There are several designs that show the architecture of the Muslims.
This is also listed in the UNESCO world heritage site and attracts much number of tourists all over the world. There are many other monuments like the iron pillar which is now protected by a fence. The Indian government will be taking care of these monuments and helping the visitors.

Qutub minar is known for its construction with bricks. It is also known as the world’s tallest brick minaret. This is completely built by the Muslim rulers in India during their ruling. These are all constructed in 1386.
This was an inspiration of a minaret in Afghanistan and the same is built in India by a Muslim emperor. There are many cylindrical structures around this minar to support this from any kind of environment.
This minar also represents the victory of the Muslim rulers who ruled India a long time ago. The iron pillar explains about the chemistry knowledge in the olden days. The architecture of qutub minar is also very inspirational as it is built with only a few naturally occurring materials like sandstone and other minerals like marble and some cement to bind.
