Tuapse

Tuapse is a town in Krasnodar Krai, Russia. Tuapse was firstly recognised through the name of Nicopsis since its founding as a colony through the Greeks. It turned into integrated into the kingdom of Abkhazia and then into the kingdom of Georgia, from the 11th century. With the chaos of the 16^th century, Georgia misplaced Nicopsia to the Circassians.
