About Nes
Nes is a region in Akershus district, Norway. It is a piece of the conventional district of Romerike. The authoritative focal point of the region is the town of Årnes.The district initially the ward is named after the old Nes cultivate Old Norse: Nes which signifies "headland" since the primary church was worked here. The congregation which dated from ca 1100 was planned in Romanesque style and was reached out to a cruciform church in 1697.
The old medieval stone was situated close to the point of two streams; Glomma and Vorma. The congregation endured fire harm in 1854. After the fire, the dividers were protected as remnants.
