Autlan

Autlan is a municipality positioned inside the Sierra de Amula Region inside the country of Jalisco, Mexico, according with the decree of administrative regionalization of the country of Jalisco to promote the improvement of the entity on October 31, 2014, Autlan is decided as one of the 3 improvement nodes of said area collectively with the municipalities of El Grullo and Tecolotlan, being the principle node the Autlan de Navarro municipality.

It is positioned 192 kilometers from the Metropolitan Area of Guadalajara and 165 kilometers from the Port of Manzanillo. It is the biggest and maximum populated town within the Sierra de Amula and Costa Sur de Jalisco vicinity. It is a leading municipality inside the area due to the fact that Autlan is a critical middle of commercial change. On September 12, 2016 the Autlan Metropolitan Area advocated by means of the congress of the union became shaped. Its basis dates returned to the 7th century whilst Nahuatl families of Toltec origin left the north taking walks towards the south, leaving some cities whose names have preserved records.
